BOOMBAYAH Posted June 14 Share Posted June 14 It's equal parts hilarious and depressing that all these European countries were doing the most for gay rights during the 2022 World Cup only to not do sh*t during the EUROS during PRIDE MONTH. Germany couldn't even give the girls a rainbow armband despite being the face of "anti-homophobia" during their World Cup campaign. Hoping King Harry will come through for England since he wore a rainbow armband during friendlies. On another note, Musiala and Writz did amazing today. I don't even think Gareth is their biggest issues. On paper, they have the best players but I also think they lowkey have too many good players. Like 4 of the players are 10/10 number 10s but obv only one person can play the role. And because a player like Foden is too good to bench, he'll be shoehorned into playing on the left because Jude is 100% playing the #10 and Saka is playing on the right. Trent is lowkey being shoehorned as a midfielder too + they'll have to decide which midfielder works best with Declan. After this issue, they have to deal with a dreadful defence and injuries. I feel like England is the type of team where after their first game, you'll get an idea of how far they will go in the competition. If Gareth can somehow bring out the best of this (lowkey discombobulated) team, then we'll have a good chance to win.
