I do believe fun pop music is making a comeback sooner than we think. I feel Sabrina carpenter new song "expresso" is a sign of that.

Nah she needs to continue selling her songs to K-pop groups or Katy or something, that new album was not it.

 

Even American Girl, songs that are good on paper, they just don't hit when it's her releasing them.

She was in the studio with Peach recording this one, so I don't think she actually recorded a version. They wrote/recorded it at the same time afaik.
