BOOMBAYAH Posted June 4 Posted June 4 He's been getting hit with these allegations for literal years. Beyonce probably knows and doesn't care. They're long-time collaborators + most singers don't have a moral compass until it starts to effect their brand. 4 1

Keep blaming women for men's mistakes. Cant people think about/discuss different aspects about a situation? "Keep blaming women" sounds like a weak and fake-progressive argument knowing that, if that woman is privy to the allegations, they're willing working with an alleged predator.
Blue Skies Posted June 4 Posted June 4 As someone who hates most of his music, I hope they lock this abuser up and throw away the key
Gesamtkunstwerk Posted June 4 Posted June 4 This is obviously not Beyoncés fault, be real But we have to accept that our faves, and most celebs, chose working with known abusers and that they dgaf, unless the media comes for them. That's just how it is in the biz

Rihanna's own retelling of how she got signed: "[Rihanna] later recalled Jay-Z saying, 'There's only two ways out. Out the door' "—if she signed the contract—" 'or through this window'" if she didn't." Rihanna was 16 at the time. x Foxy was also like 14, being paraded by him at industry parties - whether she notes the relationship was platonic or not, it's still problematic & predatory. Jay Z can spend all the millions he wants brushing up his image & PR, he's still a creep, & was consistently befriending and brushing shoulders with creeps & it will all come back to bite, as soon as he's no longer useful to the bigger fish/feds he sucks up to. There's a 1997 interview of him sitting on a couch with Luke, who demands that 2 women sitting on either side of them "strip" & have sex with one another, they do - & they look uncomfortable as the men sit and comment / further humiliate them. And it's not hard to find. Anyway. This is disgusting. Justice for the victim. Edited June 4 by FOCK 1

Capris Groove Posted June 4 Posted June 4 And yes Jay Z is another WEIRD man and Beyoncé is giving Phylicia Rashad, let me defend my Bill Cosby vibes. 1

Yeah I think Jay Z will be the next Diddy at some point There's too much smoke around him, also so many connections with creepy men

Misguided Ghost Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I hope each and every one of those rats will be exposed and convicted. Absolutely horrible...

Soda Pop Queen Posted June 5 Posted June 5 UGH. I believe her too, especially because it's very specific. It's ALWAYS these male producers, and don't let them be the executive at the label then it's that much worse. It explains why they have so much unchecked power, financial and otherwise, over the artists and topline writers. He's done enough. Put him away. It's time to cut the cord.

Kanye = Monster Diddy = Monster LA Reid = Monster The Dream = Monster Rihanna is also friends (esp to the dream and la reid) as well so that make her a "monster" too?
Kingdom Posted June 5 Posted June 5 4 hours ago, LegaMyth said: These people were CLOSE. Kanye and Diddy referred to Bey as their sister at one point. The Dream writes all of her songs. girl you clearly aren't black...sis/sister is not actually literal. Diddy calling bey is "sis" does not mean they were actually close. Someone very close to DIddy is Mary J Blige. Diddy and bey were industry sissies.

Thats a big red flag Like iggy azalea knowin all the Tory Lanez stuff and still workin with him.....Lizzo praising chris brown I have some ex-classmates and -ex-friends who turned to be very very problematic and they had this facade of "goodness" "angels" for a long time We only knew once everything happened-s**t went down. Some people are really good hiding their demons and wrongdoings Edited June 5 by AvadaKedavra 1
Pop Fan Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I'm not surprised at all. I hope he gets a fair punishment. Well:..at least we can all agree that Cowboy Carter isn't winning AOTY and finally put this Beyonce AOTY forced narrative to rest. Beyonce will get her usual AOTY nomination and that's it. This will become her 6th AOTY loss and she'll officially become the biggest AOTY loser in Grammy history. This is also quite an achievement in itself. She should finally stop feeling entitled to winning AOTY. There is a reason why she's fails again and again and again. I feel bad for The Carters tho. Jay Z and his narcissistic tantrum really showed how despereate they are to get it. She will probably be the most nominated artist again and will be seated in the front row just to stay in her seat forced to watch Billie or another young artist accepting the coveted AOTY Grammy. 3

He has said Bey is aware and doesn't care. There are many videos of 50 Cent speaking out about this on youtube if anyone wants to see for themselves. 1
