XO_Life Posted June 4 Posted June 4 https://www.google.de/amp/s/amp.zdf.de/nachrichten/politik/mannheim-attacke-video-tiktok-hass-gewalt-islamkritiker-100.html - Basically some "islam tik toker" are celebrating the stabbing and talking about how the victim (the right wing politician) does not deserve sympathy. - The police man (29 years old) is dead. - In addition german politicians are also moving towards a stronger deportation Policy, including deportations to Afghanistan - the attacker was an asylum seeker who got denied in 2014, he was there for 10 years and has a wife + 2 kids
The Next Day Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Horrible person celebrates another horrible person, a tale old as time. And we don't need a stronger deportation policy, we need an intelligent one. We deport people with stable jobs because it's easy and criminals and people on trial need to stay because other countries won't take them (understandably). 3 6 1

KatyPrismSpirit Posted June 4 Posted June 4 violence is never the solution. I was very upset when i read that the police officer died. he only wanted to protect people from this lunatic. the stabber needs the death penalty

brraap Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I will never understand those who support the killing of innocent people Some are beginning to have depraved thoughts and a serious lack of empathy. What ever happened to humanity
family.guy123 Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I mean this is the same social media platform that was celebrating *checks notes* Osama bin laden . 1
Pikachoo Posted June 4 Posted June 4 people on social media will say anything for clicks. It's the same for right wingers who will talk about any crazy qanon conspiracy because they know it'll get them views and revenue. please don't let these outliers on both sides cause you to generalize the community they belong to. it just causes more and more isolation and hatred.

You know it's not giving that, you're being obtuse. I'm saying that violent outbursts like these are unfortunately to be expected in a country that is both deeply racist AND has a sizeable portion of people that are systemically disenfranchised. And that the material conditions of Germany currently produce people, that completely lack empathy (like the person in question celebrating a death). And it's also quite telling that particularly THIS murder of a policeman is making making the rounds on the news circle (and not the other 4 ones that happened last months, but were committed by white right-wing Germans). In general, it's super disingenuous how a Muslim TikTok microinfluencer is getting put on a pedestal, with the clear intention to stoke hate and fear about people from Middle Eastern descent, but nobody mentions how all the first responders who put their lives on the line are Germans of Middle Eastern descent. If y'all boo me for seeing through the bullsh*t, I'll take it in grace. 2
