With Taylor pushing her and her two huge songs the GP is interested in any new music she is putting out. Taylor may even back off her endless variants to help her out. Getting a number one is a given.

XXI. Posted August 19 Posted August 19 I think the timing of this album was perfect. She's been attending events and playing big festivals all Summer to keep her name out there. Nobody was expecting Espresso to smash the way it did - when it first dropped it was messaged as a standalone to test the waters. They have continued to build momentum while juggling three songs that were all simultaneously peaking between Feather, Espresso, and Please Please Please... while also filming and putting together great visuals. The album drops at the end of August right before the VMAs where she is performing, she'll definitely be on the cover of some magazine, has late night lined up, and then heads out on tour again. emails i can't send had 6 singles... It's possible the plan is to work Short n' Sweet for a long while into 2025. I don't think they needed to do much as Espresso and Please Please Please really have been carrying the momentum without her doing much. It makes sense to save and capitalize off that momentum into the Fall as she's on the road/everywhere. 4

A third single would have been nice but the two hit singles she has is enough to carry the initial album release. And she does have promo coming up.

Olivia - 187 good 4 u + 106 deja vu Sabrina - 125 espresso + 73 ppp so far please please please has been holding strong, and the album release this week should catapult it back up for awhile too.

I've got a few copies pre-ordered, the cover art for the special editions is so pretty

Honestly PPP shouldn't have been released that early, espresso was still strong & gettin stronger, she should have released PPP like July 26/August 2 one of those Fridays.
Yawn Posted August 20 Posted August 20 espresso and PPP are still #3 and #4 on global. the timing for the album is literally perfect. the two singles are well established and stable, but everyone is ready for the full album and a new smash. she's been doing live shows and securing pre orders since PPP released 2 months ago. everything played out perfectly even if it didn't make sense on paper. 1

No one has known/shared anything for this era. Tonight is the Spotify taste of short n sweet event though, so curious if we'll start getting some insight on the album, or if they'll take away phones, have people sign NDAs and all that. 1
