She announced that she would be retiring from music after The End of an Era three years ago, then said the same thing in January of this year, and now a farewell song. I feel artists should announce things like this when they really mean it. Not surprising though since artists depend on their emotional side for creativity, thus emotional decisions are also made.

To be honest even if I never thought she was great I still followed her a lot and listened to a lot of her absolute club bangers

 

Idk why she decided to scrap her last album but I genuinely feel like she was just discouraged by the way she was received as a rapper throughout her WHOLE career and it's finally had an effect on her.  Sad, but she will profit herself through other creative ventures I guess, her music was not becoming a significant source of income anymore I guess after the performance of her last album (which I personally thought had a lot of good music).
