"The charts are meaningless because someone I don't like is #1" will always be such a funny angle to take :suburban:

Anyway, already matched Midnights' and 1989 TV's weeks at #1 :clap3:

I pray TTPD can block tons of albums and score her like anpother 6 weeks at number to avenge all those weeks of her being blocked and so close to #1 during the Midnights and 1989 TV eras. I hope she is ruthless and keeps releasing those acoustic editions and stuff. Get a double digit #1 album queen :suburban:The haters are seething regardless so might as well

Why do you guys act obtuse to her antics :dies: Holding physical albums sold on her site until competitive weeks is literally gaming the charts and does take away from them. It's falsifying her consumption on specific weeks. It does in fact make charts meaningless if artists can choose when to count sales.

Anyone can chose when to count sales, the problem for other artists is that would need to have the sales to count :ryan3:

Oh no! If ATRL user Gaia says the charts don't matter, guess they don't! Sounds like you can stop following them so closely then :suburban:

I think it's more "I've seen how the charts work and I've now determined how meaningless they are"

for example, as a Beyoncé fan I used to want her to win AOTY. Now that I've seen what an "AOTY" actually is, well why would I want that for my fave?

anyway, back to the top 2 albums of the decade

Maybe she can drizzle some balsamic glaze over the album covers and start selling those with BLT ingredients as a new variant? Would you prefer this?

also billboard's the one who chose to change the rules so that pre-orders don't count until the week they're shipped

she sold well before the rule change, she's selling well since

Yeah, if anything this only helped her to have more stabililty and get extra weeks at #1.

the lattermost list, it hits the top five in just its fourth week, wrapping the fastest rise to the region since Miley Cyrus' "Flowers" also needed only four frames to go top five in January-February 2023.

IHSH should be peaking on country soon, and should peak ahead of A Bar Song and MILLION DOLLAR BABY on Pop. I think ABS and MDB, whoever maintains their stremaing better, will have chances at #1 on the Hot 100 in July.
