If they reduced the capacity on some dates she would be fine… unless she refused to do that 70% is after her cancellation of 7 poorly sold dates Otherwise it would be 50%

Not sure why she added a 2nd date in, she's not Shakira Then it's a row of disaster across the West Coast and Texas with cheap tickets still available to purchase Imagine even flopping in LA This one looks like 80% UNSOLD The pattern of the remaining seats on the upper floor looks so weird, I believe some seats are hided And here we go, a series of flop shows The 1st NYC show looks okay but the 2nd one is terribly sold Any comments? @DanceAgain 2

simplywohoo Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Oh nooo I'm so sad :( I hope everything will turn alright for her It would have been a punch in the face to her haters claiming she can't sell well on tour But of course family issues are the most important thing Wishing her the best

Attitude Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I think there's a lot she can do to regain public favor, but it would require self awareness. Unfortunately she has a lot of yes people who feed into her delusion, specifically her manager. 5
MatiRod Posted May 31 Posted May 31 This sucks for her but they should've known better than to book arenas. It should've been a theatre/amphitheatre tour. She has not had a big hit song in 13 years at this point. JLO the celebrity and actress is much more relevant than JLO the musician these days, and I think they falsely equated the two and assumed people would go see her. 4
DuffStan Posted May 31 Posted May 31 How did she go from being on top of the world to... this? I'm upset because the album is one of my favorites this year and she worked so hard on it and its film. 4 1 1

HeavyMetalAura Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Could someone enlighten me on why she's so hated? Serious question. I know a lot about pop culture but must be missing some sort of context. I know people claim she's untalented, but Britney, Katy, Taylor get those same criticisms and are largely loved. People also say she's mean, but Xtina/Madonna/Mariah get those same complaints as well. Obviously I know that ATRL loves to see women fail and all the women I listed have had their bad moments with the GP (Witness, Glitter, Bionic, Erotica, Britney in 2007 and Britney now, etc) but idk. It feels different with JLo. Or am I bugging? Shame about the tour but not surprised. 2

She needs to get a few good roles as I think the public largely considers her just an actress now, which is little crazy because she didn't do the Super Bowl too long ago. I'm thinking doing a movie with an ensemble cast or one where she is more supporting would work to her benefit. Edited May 31 by Paultea 1

Shame about the tour but not surprised. the beginnings of her music career are very shady. mariah's ex husband, music exec tommy motolla, used jlo to get back at mariah by boosting her career. many of her songs featured lead vocals from other singers, while she isn't a vocalist. i think a lot of people feel she didn't deserve a big career in music and it was handed to her. apart from that, she's very ambitious, confident and comfortable in the spotlight (not bad things imo), so people see her as fame obsessed. not to mention her addiction to love and marriage 1
i spit on haters Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Damn, another (expected) L. At least she still has her millions, health and beauty. That's got to count for something, right ?
SinnerCity Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Well, it is everything but shocking and at the same time I'm sure we can expect her plans for a Vegas residency to be cancelled unless they cancelled the tour to launch the residency later this year that perhaps would be a better move for her.
