pigeon Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Most of my friends aren't really into the artists that I like and I live in a foreign country so I am kinda used to do things by myself. I have attended several concerts alone, even in a foreign country. But next Friday's Olivia Rodrigo concert made me very insecure. I am a 29 years old gay male and I am going alone. Should I sell my ticket before the concert? I am afraid that people think that I am pervert that goes after teenage girls.
Popular Post punisher Posted May 31 Popular Post Posted May 31 no, only weirdos think that only teenagers are allowed to like/see olivia rodrigo literally says more about them than you go, have fun, and enjoy seeing the music you like live. if you feel insecure about going just wear a crop top or something so people get the message 14 9
byzantium Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Personally I think you are fine. Judgmental people are out there regardless. If you are a fan and want to go to the concert, go! 1
Richie.Valdez Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Why do you care so much what people may think? Smh Go and enjoy yourself. 4
punisher Posted May 31 Posted May 31 jeiboy out here messing with people's heads really left an impact 9
Proseductice Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Go see her! Be safe and have a good time. I wish the world was less judgmental about people enjoying harmless fun. 3
wehan6 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 (edited) no i love her new album and would've gone to see her if she came to my country as well. you should go! Edited May 31 by wehan6

Dear Reader Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Not at all. You like what you like, ignore others and have fun 1
SoldierofLove Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Wtf no! Even if you were 60 you shouldn't be asking that question. If you feel self conscious just wear a face shield and/or mask to cover your face. At least you'll still be enjoying the concert! 2
GardenPanty Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Trust me, going to concerts alone is no big deal. Who cares what other people think. For all they know you could just be a music reviewer who is going to the show to write an article about it. It's easy to get in your head about these kinds of things but there's nothing wrong with enjoying a concert by yourself. 1
Saintlor Posted May 31 Posted May 31 The only time I wouldn't want to go to a young female's concert alone is if I were a 50+ year old man that looks straight Since then it would look too much like you're a creep Aside from that it's fine
