Did she ever let us know why this one has such a strong religious undertone? Not that I mind it, but it feels very different from her. Die Young smash 1
jonapova Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Still bitter this was robbed of the pop solo Grammy. One of my favourites by her 3

Kesha isn't religious, though she grew up in a religious environment. However, as said above, she is very spiritual. It's a recurring theme for all of her albums since Rainbow: Praying (Rainbow) Raising Hell (High Road) Something To Believe In (Gag Order) Cathedral (unreleased K6) 1
$ebert Posted May 30 Posted May 30 What can we say? She's iconic Ed Sheeran better return the Grammy to Kesha, where it belongs. 9
Alaska. Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Sometimes I have to spend months on end without listening to the song to fully appreciate how powerful and raw it is 1
tost1 Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Didn't play this in a while but will give it a go in my tomorrow's shower karaoke session
BornUnbroken Posted May 31 Posted May 31 And K6 lead single will be her 6th to reach that milestone 2
FallenFroot Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Should have 2 billion tbh. One of the best and most emotional pop songs ever probably. 1
Genius1111 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 (edited) Yes, Kesha or literally any one of the other 3 female singers in attendance that Grammy Night (Kelly, Gaga and Pink) should have won that Grammy instead of Ed. Shape of You was an alright song (and it is in the top 10 of biggest Hot 100 hits ever), but the 4 women definitely served far superior songs, quality-wise. I just checked Wikipedia and Ed's Thinking Out Loud also blocked Kelly's Heartbeat Song 2 years prior. Edited June 2 by Genius1111 1
