KatyPrismSpirit Posted May 29 Author Posted May 29 I'm glad she is talking about what has been going on in Rafah finally. Especially after she signed that nonsense open letter applauding Biden for how he handled the situation. Hopefully she stands on the right side of history now.
SinnerCity Posted May 29 Posted May 29 **** this *****, she supported this from the start back in October 2023. 8 1 3
Joyride Posted May 29 Posted May 29 she's been supporting. this is like her second time sharing that post amost others.
Mrnoniee Posted May 29 Posted May 29 She's so so so sweet. A really really really sweet person. a really genuine and sweet person 2
Popular Post State of Grace. Posted May 29 Popular Post Posted May 29 Good for her. But reposting UNICEF posts won't make us forget about the letter you signed thanking Biden for his "unshakeable moral conviction and support" for Israel, Katheryn. 20 2

I hope the poor judgement of signing that letter reflects her every single time she sees the atrocities Israhell commits. 3
Popular Post Communion Posted May 29 Popular Post Posted May 29 (edited) "Unconditional release of all hostages" - do the Western NGOs and orgs who put out these kinds of statements understand Israel has about 3000 Palestinian hostages? The actual parties part of this mediation understand so and have communicated such - Palestine accepting a ceasefire and Israel rejecting one. Calling for an "unconditional" release of hostages is just contradicting because an immediate, permanent ceasefire IS the condition Palestine has made clear must be met for the Israeli hostages to be released - alongside the release of Palestinian hostages, the end of settlements in the occupied territories, etc. This isn't a slight at Katy cause of course a Western celeb is going to view UNICEF as a rightfully credible organization and feel they've become more deeply informed. It's just confusing what omnipotent power these organizations are walking on egg shells to not offend with the constant word choices taken. 99% of the militarism is coming from one side at this point. Yet even after live-streamed nights of blood shed, many Western orgs still can't seem to find it within themselves to make statements beyond "<3 ALL VIOLENCE ON ALL SIDES MUST END, CHOOSE PEACE <3" and similar. i spit on haters Posted May 29 Posted May 29 She's full of **** and very much one of those white liberals who fall in the middle but mostly leans more further to the right than they do to the left or even the middle. Especially economically. And she merely 'liked' a post. She didn't really say anything or do anything tangible to amplify the voices of those who are suffering a great deal. Not about to applaud her for the bare minimum. She's an immensely overpaid pop star who has a multi million dollar contract on a singing show (which is too ironic). Let me know when she donates or does or says something more substantive than 'like' a social media post. 7 1 1

Altough what she is sharing isn't of much use or perfect, it is at least something. I normally don't applaud the bare ****** minimum at all but this single post anout the situation in Rafah is already more than the complete silence of most other female singers.
AvadaKedavra Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Very ballsy of her. She could be blacklisted and her comeback cancelled by the higher powers Respect 3
i spit on haters Posted May 29 Posted May 29 And **** like this is so performative and half-assed. But then others will say, see, you guys attack people when they do speak up and attack them when they're silent. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. That's not the case at all. If you have the power, resources, platform and the finances to do more then do more. It's that simple. 2

She could be blacklisted and her comeback cancelled by the higher powers Respect Her comeback would be 'cancelled' because she'll undoubtedly come back with the same generic, antiquated music because she's shown zero growth both musically and image wise. Hence why her last few musical efforts were duds and didn't resonate with the public. Has nothing to do with the higher powers you're referring to. And didn't she have a talking toilet on her last tour with dancers dressed in costumes that looked like a kids birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese ? no one needs to impede Katy's music career when she does it herself. 1 3 1
Bloodflowers. Posted May 29 Posted May 29 We love growth, and she should be applauded for taking correct stance now Let me give "A Cup of Coffee" and "By The Grace of God" a stream
