discussion Dune 2 vs Furiosa: The better movie?

- came out in 2024

- are distributed by Warner Bros

- are the main candidates to sweep all technical awards at Oscars

- take place in a desert

- are sci-fi action adventure epics

- are a part of IPs (Mad Max and Dune)

- casts are connected (Anya Taylor Joy as Furiosa and Alia)

 

So which movie is better?

Dune 2 is the best movie ever

Dune 2 elevated the whole universe for me and got me into reading book but it dragged a bit, Furiosa will have more replay value and I prefer its vibrant cinematography and expendedFury Road universe.
