If you're not familiar with what is perhaps the best and most unique TV show on air right now, Evil follows a priest, scientist and sceptic

as they try to explain the unexplainable for the church. It is audacious, hilarious, terrifying and wholly singular, with a perfect cast and amazing visuals.

Seasons 1-3 are now on Netflix, and episodes for the final season will be released weekly. They were cancelled earlier this year, but will

end the show with 4 special episodes and are hoping to find a new home, so please, support this incredible show!

Last week I was going to google if this show got canceled. Happy that it is back

Honestly only the first season is good. Season 2 and 3 were a mess

I highly recommend giving the season 4 premiere a shot because the way it sets up the threads for the season PLUS the mystery of the week is spooky and weird (like always)

I'm avoider spoilers in here! I just started the show. It's AMAZING. I'm surprised not many are talking about it.

Season 1 is giving me ALIAS (manuscript prophecies, Manifest (the visions), Black Mirror (the devil using technology), and Nefarious/The Screwtape Letters (the demonology/demon hierarchy/dark forces that manipulate humans).

Love the direction this show is going in!

So bummed that this is already the final season! I heard that Katja Herbers tries to have it picked up by other streaming services tho. Hope she succeeds!

Im glad they at least got 4 extra episodes by Paramount to finish the series as best they can, I have low hopes for a platform picking it up. Funnily enough, it's the most successful show on Paramount+ and has extremely good viewership this season, combined with the Netflix debut. It really should be un-cancelled by Paramount+ for at least another full season, but hey, its got more than some other TV shows and each season so far is extremely solid.

I just watched the episode in Season 1 where the guy was training to shoot up the church but he

Spoiler

Accidentally shoots himself in the head while role playing in front of the mirror :bibliahh:

This show can be so hilarious :bibliahh:

Spoiler

I also bust out laughing when Dr. Bouchard saw the lady giving birth to the ghoul/demon baby. She was so high on the spiked sangria which made her reaction so much funnier

Katja Herbers is a treasure, isn't she? I love watching her play this role. And I absolutely agree on the comedic elements being perfect, they mix some genuinely terrifying stuff with it and it makes for such good entertainment!

Spoiler

The guy shooting himself was so perfect, the write the **** out of these scripts so that no matter what you expect, you are blindsided. And I LOVE how the audience has to decide what to believe, further driving the point of the show. Ugh, genius. Gone too soon!

I've been in love with this show since it first started. It's a shame it never got the popularity it deserves, it is just so good in so many ways. Intriguing, funny, sad, intense, frightening… it has everything.
