Nicki goes on random coke rants and has meltdowns all over social media when she "feuds". All Taylor did was... release voice memos of songs on her website. Not once did she bring this up herself. Y'all are so unserious with these comparisons

She's 1000% correct. Everyone starts off sounding like someone else, reminding people of this or that or getting compared to their predecessors. Creativity doesn't exist in a vacuum and inspiration is everywhere. It takes time for a new artist to find their footing and their own lane, especially if they are as young as Olivia or Billie was when she debuted.

There's both of these types of veteran artists in the industry. One wants to support you and see you grow, the other one feels insecure and wants to clip your wings. Billie knows it well by now and hence she's talking about it. Gotta love her for that.
