People need to stop acting like Missy is some phenomenal rapper. She's incredibly creative and can rap, sing and produce well but she isn't the gold standard when it comes to rap skills. 
 

Foxy and Meg should be on here and the talentless Cardi B should be nowhere near it.

Why are people pretending like Missy is a rappers rapper? When people speak on Missy they mostly speak on her creativity and her videos. She's an amazing artist, but when I think of female rappers, she isn't in my Top 10.

Right. Even if we strip away success and impact (which is the point of the list), Em is literally still an all time great lyricist and rapper just on skill alone. I understand why they wouldn't want to put him at 1. But only 10 is wild, considering he bridged the gap and broke more ground. Especially When all the requisites for greatness the other top 9 have don't eclipse him😭😆

I'm not even a Lil Wayne fan, but I get it. 

 

Insane commercial peak, cross over appeal, respect among his peers, extremely influential to the current gen of rappers, many people think he's the greatest to ever do it, so he kind of got it all.
