AMIT Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Birds of a feather, we should stick together, I know I said I'd never think I wasn't better alone Can't change the weather, might not be forever But if it's forever, it's even better And I don't know what I'm cryin' for I don't think I could love you more Might not be long, but baby, I I'll love you 'til the day that I die 'Til the day that I die 'Til the light leaves my eyes 'Til the day that I die 2

ATRL Moderator Bloo Posted May 17 ATRL Moderator Posted May 17 I’m on the last two songs and this album isn’t clicking for me. The production is a standout for sure. It’s probably her best produced album, by a mile. But, I cannot connect to the songs. The lyrics feel very clunky and samey. The Greatest and Birds of a Feather are the highlights for me so far.
JoeAg Posted May 17 Posted May 17 LUNCH IS SUCH A BANGERRRRRR OMG okay atmospheric space rock/funk fusion!! 1
Kristie Kuwa Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Finished my first listen and while I enjoyed myself, its way more midtempo than I hoped for. Also, the punches are missing for the most part to me. Its a cute album which is gonna be overrated for the most part during the first few weeks, I do believe its gonna be seen as a solid body of work in the longrun, however not as a new peak. On my first listen, its a solid 7/10
JoeAg Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Birds of a Feather why does she sound a little bit like young MJ in the chorus?? lol beautiful but idk why that's who my first comparison was
BlackoutZone Posted May 17 Posted May 17 The way The Greatest is actually better than HTE, cause it feels much more effortless 5
Clarksonator Posted May 17 Posted May 17 It's crazy that the last song from HTE passed 100M on release day. Wonder if it was intentional. 1
Dula Peep Posted May 17 Posted May 17 damn this album is incredible everything I wanted from her after the bloated snorefest HTE
PoisonedIvy Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Yea just finished the album and it will probably end up as my #1 or #2 favorite of the year. Beautiful masterpiece and a huge testament to her artistry. She absolutely would be deserving of AOTY at the Grammys 3
Kh-Loud Posted May 17 Posted May 17 I'm on track #5, and a all the production choices have been nothing short of fantastic! I never knew her brother is sooo talented damnnn 2
Nico Robin Posted May 17 Posted May 17 On first listen this ain't my favorite album of hers but that might change!
Taylor fanboy Posted May 17 Posted May 17 (edited) FINNEAS has got to produce for other artists this year and bag that GRAMMY Producer of the Year Night King! He's a star your honor. Edited May 17 by Taylor fanboy
JoeAg Posted May 17 Posted May 17 wowwww The Greatest is like Happier Than Ever on vyvanse and it made sure to continue drinking water through the day stunning!
Dula Peep Posted May 17 Posted May 17 her going full pop on BIRDS OF A FEATHER truly ended me radio would eat this up omg 1
