I mean it lowkey is serving that kind of smash. I said this was gonna hit 3B with ease and I got laughed at for it :dies:

Radio pushes and music video have yet to even begin and it's already at such massive numbers

Can this be the 2nd fastest album to have all tracks cross 100M?

Oh looks like she is performing in Mexico.
Probably something small/acoustic since it's just a quick promo visit but still we are up!

EDIT: Looks like they deleted and corrected it for another appearance in a fan event.
False alarm! :grump:

This is true but I think visuals do help in solidifying identity to a project as well as gives fans and non-fans some sort of memory attached to an era. When people think of WWAFA they remember the outfits, the hair, the spider, the creepy videos, plus all the hits. With HTE they remember her being blonde. I feel like so far there really is no imagery to attach this era too, which yes it doesn't need really but in the future when people look back on this album it's nice to have something that stands out alongside the hits/music.

It's also just cool to do for the fans in general.

To me, I feel the era is symbolized by the oversized and baggy outfits (it's a constant in all her eras but the styling is completely distinct), and blue visuals. Of course, I NEED more visuals from this era because Billie has always been about the visuals and imagery. It only adds to the music, especially since she has synaesthesia

Imagine calling this album a flop, i know some artists that would die to have these stats :cm:

HTE song eligible for 6x Platinum, TIA coming for 4xP, my future 2xP, YP coming for 2xP

Almost all songs eligible for GOLD cert.

As someone who was endlessly defending the performance of this era on ATRL when everyone was calling it a mega-flop (it wasn't and still isn't as even time herself streams this masterpiece :clap3:), seeing the staggering commercial success and longevity of HMHAS suddenly makes the commercial performance of HTE look so underwhelming. I think this may be her Good Girl Gone Bad-Rated R-Loud moment. All three successful albums but the first and third are the commercial mammoths that sort of overshadow the middle record.

Just found a small compilation of all the clips she has been posting about the making of the album.

It's so interesting seeing their creative process. I love every second.
Cannot wait for the doc.

smash smash smash!
This song growing organically and fast becoming a fan favorite (4th most streamed after BOAF, Lunch and Chihiro) is such a gag. I love it sm!

TBH a lot of this could be because it comes on right after Birds of a Feather. The song is top 20 on my 2024 playlist on Apple Music because of autoplay but I usually skip it when I realize it's playing. :michael:

Or because its going viral hence why its #15 on US Billboard TikTok Chart, weren't you swifies saying there's no autoplay on AM, now that a non-single is outstreaming the lead single from the biggest artist in the word the conversation went for another side :suburban:

This doesn't make any sense LOL  if the music starts after Birds is because you're just listening to the full album.
If you dont enjoy it skip it. A stream only counts if you listen to more than 30 seconds to it.

It also overtook Espresso on US Spotify! It's number two to "Not Like Us".

A widely available performance of the full album like Miley's unplugged sessions or ariana's vevo performances would do wonders for the lasting iconography of the era tbh

"Espresso" and "A Bar Song" are going ACR next week, so "BIRDS" can reach #2 with chances to hit #1.
They should release the music video, CDs, Cassettes or Vinyl to boost it to #1, like they did with WWIMF? in the last minutes.
