This song (and album) keeps on winning but I do feel her team is lacking this Era (yeah not the first time we know but damn they are so good at her campaigning for awards why not this?) . Where's the promotion? Specially in the US. Where are the performances? They are relying solely on the MV and a few plays on the radio? I wonder what's going on cause what are they waiting for? This era really feels very empty, we only had 2 performances when the album came out and nothing since then. I wonder if they are preparing something (a surprise maybe) for the next weeks, because there's no way billie is doing nothing lately (besides the boaf music video). 5

I would love her to do a one night only thing where she performs the whole album or something. Definitely needs to do some more performances in tv shows or radio or something. Yeah i dont think she is just relaxing at home doing nothing. That woman is always working on something and we probably have some great surprises on the way (fingers crossed) but I wish they could tease something once in a while to keep the hype going or at least announce the tour openers and some more shows since she has hinted that there will be Asia and LATAM legs for this tour. Just give us something Edited July 18 by Dash_inthedark 3
Dash_inthedark Posted July 18 Posted July 18 smash smash smash! This song growing organically and fast becoming a fan favorite (4th most streamed after BOAF, Lunch and Chihiro) is such a gag. I love it sm! 3
Dash_inthedark Posted July 18 Posted July 18 No autoplay in the world can make 8/10 songs of an album stream over 1M and one of them 8.5M This is pure fan/music love 2

bad guy Posted July 18 Posted July 18 Also there's now only a ~56k difference in streams between PPP and BOAF on US Spotify (2,129,683 vs. 2,073,403). I think it has a chance to surpass it if it remains this stable or increases 3

Right? It feels like they're trying to push ~her~ via these viral moments (Chicken Shop Date, Hot Ones Vs., ODG) /interviews, which is great, but it feels like it's a long con for awards season and less about pushing the MUSIC imo. BOAF is #1 on Spotify global… drop the video while it's HOT! 2
MatiRod Posted July 18 Posted July 18 The music landscape has changed massively, music videos barely do anything anymore. The way kids consume pop culture is via TikTok, short clips is where it's at. So something like Hot Ones makes sense instead of your traditional late night appearances, it's more likely to go viral. The songs are basically marketing themselves at this point, why spend a ton of money on an elaborate TV performance that will get few viewers anyway. I will say as the next radio single "Wildflower" would make the most sense. 2

This is true but I think visuals do help in solidifying identity to a project as well as gives fans and non-fans some sort of memory attached to an era. When people think of WWAFA they remember the outfits, the hair, the spider, the creepy videos, plus all the hits. With HTE they remember her being blonde. I feel like so far there really is no imagery to attach this era too, which yes it doesn't need really but in the future when people look back on this album it's nice to have something that stands out alongside the hits/music. It's also just cool to do for the fans in general. Edited July 18 by bad guy 6
