LostInStereo100 Posted June 15 Posted June 15 This may be her last day above 9 million. Hopefully she does some promo soon now that radio is catching on rather quickly
bad guy Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Cute update but yeah we need that Lunch autoplay to be applied now
wish Posted June 15 Posted June 15 New albums kinda tumble a bit after the first month. Be prepared for some messy updates this weekend 5
wish Posted June 15 Posted June 15 After this weekend, I think Lunch is going to linger around 5M for a while, which is still HUGE BOAF is doing incredibly, it goes without saying - 9M after an entire month is insane. It's definitely a good time for Interscope to make moves, hopefully a video is in the works and we get some teasing soon. Billie should also make some cute TikToks with the song for some easy promo. 6
J.D. Posted June 15 Posted June 15 (edited) Her best album to date. Plays so well from start to finish. Blue ends it so well, my fave track on the album. It's better than Taylor Swifts latest, shows so much maturity and growth compared. Edited June 15 by J.D. 1 1

And just shows she is making music she loves and couldn't care less about charts. Edited June 15 by J.D. 1
dreww Posted June 15 Posted June 15 In two days BLUE will reach 100 million streams on Spotify. This means 5/10 songs (half the album) will have reached the milestone exactly one month after release. 6
dalladallamallamalla Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Interscope please please, pleaseeee don't let BOAF flop on charts. 1

Even if they fail (I dont think they will but still is a possibility) the song will not flop it's just too good. It will grow organically no matter what cause people genuinely love it I already hear it everywhere on social media. It's also associated to a tv series (heartstopers) and an animated movie (the wild robot) both coming out September/October. I think it only needs a small push from radio to truly explode. I think the losses are gonna gradually get bigger for Billie. Especially now that birds is already doing week over week losses The silence is wild for this song that has so much potential. I hope they are working on something

I hope they are working on something Why are you talking like it's about to be over? The album has literally been out for 28 days. They don't have to do everything all at once. She released "Lunch" as a single with a music video, and Chihiro also has a mv. They've been promoting in the US and Europe, and now they're going to Asia. there's songs on rotation in Radio. And "Birds" has been growing naturally because people like the song and been using it on social media like crazy. Monthly listeners naturally decline after a month of an album's release, that's normal for everyone. It's just how things work. They're probably just trying to stretch out "Lunch" a bit longer and will release "Birds" as a single after that. They probably initially thought the single would be out when the movie and TV series were being promoted too, but I'm sure they realize by now it has to be sooner. One thing Billie has is longevity, so I'm not worried. Of course, she can't keep these insane numbers forever, but she will stabilize in a good spot. And let's be honest, we're not aiming for Swift's numbers. She can do well without reaching those insane numbers and that's okay. In September, she starts her tour, which will boost the album again. Then there's award season. We're still basically at the beginning of the race imo. 1
