dalladallamallamalla Posted May 24 Posted May 24 AllMusic rates HIT ME HARD AND SOFT a 4.5/5 stars "Tight, simple, and effective, Hit Me Hard and Soft does just that: it comes in with a bang, thrilling with fresh production and heavy lyrical content, before easing the listener into the murky emotional depths seen on the cover art. It's an ideal synthesis of the ever-developing style that Billie and Finneas have been crafting since the late 2010s on their continuing campaign to rule the music world." https://www.allmusic.com/album/hit-me-hard-and-soft-mw0004265561#review 7 1
Green Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Since their tuesday prediction they have been saying that she was challenging her debut album first week and even more So I feel like those variants she released on wednesday didn't have too much impact. She was reaching at least 313k copies even before the discount/new variants At best they helped it to reach around 320k-325k maybe?

It was at 89 yesterday

First predictions put her at 260K Then they were 300K And now she is over her biggest debut (313K) I feel like they underestimated her from the start and she is higher than expected. I don't see her closing 400K but I see her doing over 350K

Yeah, I don't think different variants have any real impact unless you have a cult-like following (BTS, Taylor, Nicki). 2
