Why is @TayDuaStan camping in this thread despite not being a fan and mass downvoting? It's giving obsessed :rip:

I believe they and Badgalbriel search "Taylor" in search option and feel obligated to react to every post that has the keyword in it for some reason

BIRDS and CHIHIRO are extremely stable with >7.5M streams per day.

Smash after smash is coming for her. We're not ready for another Teenage Dream era :jonny5:

They try to knock her down, but she's standing strong. Here's to hoping this latest hate brigade doesn't damage her too much over the weekend!

Yes, early last night. They said Taylor is taking it and this extra push of digital variants is just going to increase her lead more. I think they have no clue what the numbers are because they didn't change the 350k/300k prediction numbers.

#1 on B200 on week #2 sounds nicer than being #1 and frontloaded during week #1 me thinks :suburban:

If it wasn't that close I wonder why Team Billie keep pushing for #1 though. It seems like a waste, they should have saved that push for the second week.

unless they just wanted to increase her numbers no matter if it's still #2.

you are TRIPPIN if you think ms. blondie is going to let that happen. There is no world where Billie outcharts Taylor this album run. Taylor will drop unlimited digital variants, ship new CDs/vinyl, etc.

I imagine they had a line from someone at BB or Luminate and it was actually very close, so they decided to push to try and secure. The additional digital variant drop from Taylor was probably the final nail in the coffin at their attempts to overtake. It was a good old fashioned chart battle I think.

Biggest album debut weeks by female artists in Spotify history:

#1 THE TORTURED POETS DEPT. 1.18B

#2 Midnights 785.2M

#3 1989 (TV) 581.9M

#4 Speak Now (TV) 395.3M

#5 SOUR 392.7M

#6 Red (TV) 380.3M

#7 Hit Me Hard And Soft 379.5M*

#8 thank u, next 374.9M

#9 SOS 351.2M

#10 Eternal Sunshine 342.2M

.

.

OUT: folklore 337.4M

So she eneded up so close to that Top5 and just a million shy of #6.

Good for an album with 10 track. That spotify number is crazy me thinks.

She did an average of 37.4M per track in one week :jonny5:
