Also they are very young and, based on their Medium, appear to be a contrarian indie-head who does not fw main stream artists in the slightest. The way you couldn't describe Pitchfork's brand in a better way

Very interesting how the narrative abruptly switches when it's an artist they're not bitter about! Let them switch But we won't. I love atrl views. We got another panned MPG album

I read that somewhere but I'm not so sure
badgirlriri Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Our last hope is AllMusic coming in with a 5 star, I think they hold equal weight to Pitchfork in the formula
James_Dean Posted May 21 Posted May 21 They are such a joke. Why do we even check for their garbage reviews album deserves anything above a 7 1
Devin Posted May 21 Posted May 21 if 6.8 is a pan then so is solar power bc they have the same score. 1

Seems the more "respected" pubs are playing contrarian (Sputnik, Pitchfork, prob AllMusic)
Billionaire Posted May 21 Posted May 21 (edited) I'm sorry but there is no way in hell that this album is as bad as SP Edited May 21 by Billionaire 6 1 3

Obsession Posted May 21 Posted May 21 (edited) Unfortunately for the Swifties in here, one middling review does not a pan make, the album is still very critically acclaimed. Edited May 21 by Obsession 2
Blade Runner Posted May 21 Posted May 21 B+tches in here saying 6.8 isn't panned (which yeah, it isn't) but when the same publication gave Taylor a 6.6 they were talking and laughing like it was the end of the world, lmfaooo. 1 1

Solar Power is a highly sophisticated quality album which talks about topics we're generally not used to hearing on MPG albums such as questioning your future, existentialism, nature, connecting with your inner self, finding light, being alone with your thoughts, escapism and more. HIT ME HARD & SOFT is just an another "i'm growing up i'm depressed and i left my boyfriend" album. Let's not..... 1 1
Camila Obama Cabello Posted May 21 Posted May 21 (edited) taylor 6 billie 6.8 guess it's safe to say CC4 will be the best contender for AOTY (unless camila get's robbed by beyonce) Edited May 21 by Camila Obama Cabello
Johnnyboi Posted May 21 Posted May 21 (edited) They really decided to end their poptimism inflation this year. I think Beyoncé and Tyla are the only ones to score great. Edited May 21 by Johnnyboi
