I don't really see the wow factor, let alone pushing it as the lead single as some have suggested here. Totally agree, I also think that we moved way past picking singles based on "radio appeal". It's just dumb, we are in the era of most random songs becoming smashes solely because of their great quality. If the song is really good, it will succeed as a single even if it's more out there, it doesn't have to be the safest AC Top 40 curated song 3
illia Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Twitter stans think that a new "red" album will be released July 5th
Supervillain Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Will I get dragged if I say that Lunch is the weakest song here? I mean, it's a cute bop but the ballads are on a while different level. Wildflower and The Greatest in particular…. 1

They're both my favorite songs from each albums but really aren't the best representation for the albums in terms of radio promotion 1

Lunch is the playful/tiktokish single material while the other songs have more substance/layering. I can understand why they serviced Lunch. It's a safe choice and it's catchy. You're not wrong actually but to think it's the weakest song of the album while being so catchy and electrifying is a testament to the impeccable quality of this album
G.U.Y_Del_Rey Posted May 18 Posted May 18 (edited) I love the transition from BITTERSUITE to BLUE Edited May 18 by G.U.Y_Del_Rey 3
Da Vinci Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I really wanna fight all the gays (of all people) saying LUNCH is too lesbian, too "risqué" (but would GAG if a pop girl sang about gagging on cock and riding dick), that Billie looks too lesbian, etc. Stick to your hetero STR8 pop girls then! (some of which even get angry about lesbian rumors!) 5
Darkgalord Posted May 18 Posted May 18 After several listens, this is my top 3: BIRDS OF A FEATHER CHIHIRO LUNCH 1

Mr. Peanutbutter Posted May 18 Posted May 18 L'Amour is brilliant. The first half really encapsulates that moment when you think you found the love of your life but realize you were just being dramatic/needy/extra then the second half encapsulates when you get over it and that melancholic feeling of heartbreak goes away and you feel ready to move on. 12
Pendulum Posted May 18 Posted May 18 she kinda served Julia Jacklin vocals on L'amour's first half, queenie
