codependent Posted April 8 Posted April 8 She always gives killer production and songwriting I am so excited to see how her music making has matured and evolved after HTE.
Thor Posted April 8 Posted April 8 HTE was a really good album so I'm looking forward to this — have a feeling this might be her best record so far just from the aesthetics and the description. And love the fact that it's only 10 songs cuz albums with 16+ to 20+ songs always have garbage filler. 2

But that teaser is like if ilomilo and Billie Bossa Nova had a baby so wondering if this album is gonna be a mix of her old sound and transition into the new. A win either way. 3

Her point was never just about the variants but rather how certain artist pack a little something different in each variant to sell multiple copies. These are variants but essential with the same tracks 5
bad guy Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Just noticed how Billie keep referencing EIW's "I tried to scream but my head was underwater" visually. First in the HTE MV and now for the HMHAS cover. Oh everything i wanted the consistently relevant and referenced hymn that you are. 9
Mocha Posted April 8 Posted April 8 perched. i am hopeful we get more pop punk songs I just re-listened to her discog and i don't remember HTE (album) being THAT good, whew 1 1

99sandthe2000s Posted April 8 Posted April 8 With only 10 tracks, it would be sick for her entire album to debut in the top 10 of the Hot 100 I already know it's going to happen since she's so strong in streaming, but it's gonna be sick to see it on Monday, May 27th #1 album, # 1 single, and take over of the entire top 10 with her full album (youngest artist to ever do it)! 1 2
Mr. Peanutbutter Posted April 8 Posted April 8 omg the last snippet she posted her synthpop era is upon us 1

Billionaire Posted April 8 Posted April 8 (edited) No single is interesting, i get that HTE's rollout was disastrous but damn not even one? 10 tracks is interesting too but I'd rather have a short album than one full of filler. She doesn't really do them but I wonder if she'll switch it up and try a deluxe this time...? Glad I wasn't the only one who saw the Titanic Rising similarities on the cover, even though the only similarity is that they're both underwater nnn These snippets have me hyped Thought she wouldn't top HTE but everything is pointing to this being her best era so far. Oh Godillie Edited April 8 by Billionaire 3
Massive_Teardrop Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Don't want to listen to a single snippet until the album comes out. Can't believe we are so close to a whole new album from her.
