Yeah. OK so onto the topic of Happier Than Ever, I used to love four songs on it,

my future, Oxytocin, Your Power, and Happier Than Ever, but I have come to find an appreciation for the majority of the songs and the album definitely is her best paced even if it is a bit diet coke at times.

Oxytocin is such an incredible song. It reminds me of this time these people were having really loud sex in the hotel room next to mine playing weird a** music.

This better be a cohesive body of work, I want these songs to be at least 4-5 minutes. I'll take a 7 minute masterpiece as well. The snippet sounds nothing like what I thought but if the description is true this album's genre is not just one thing. I hope every week there's a new tease to continue this insane hype

I love a short, cohesive, and strong album. 10 tracks is perfect as long as none of them are interludes. Happier Than Ever was one of my 2021 AOTYs but it could have benefited from some filler trimming down to 12 tracks. I hope some of the Side B tracks are long (aka +5mins nowadays). 

 

I was initially hoping she'd lean more into the rock and grunge route, but I'll welcome a mix of genres.
