One of my college professors called Paula Abdul the "Katy Perry of the 80s" when trying to describe her to my class, and that was like… Roar / Dark Horse smashery, when she still looked like a massive star. He prophesied a bit with that one.

Is the gp doing this? Either way, the comparison sort of tracks. I wasn't around for Paula's peak but it seems like Katy had a bit more longevity.
