billie has volume and control just listen to some of the songs on the new album. And needless to say Billie makes very interesting and appealing to the ear sounding with her vocals and harmonies. Something I've failed to hear in any of the other 11 albums

Billie by far is a better vocalist technically and has a better tone.

 

Y'all are underestimating her because she's not screaming on her records and hasn't publically explored her full range yet in her music, but she does do quite complicated runs and riffs and is able to execute them most of the times live. You can't do that sh*t without having like a decent amount of skill. Billie is lowkey a Jazz vocalist at heart.

Honestly there's probably at least a few people in this thread who can sing better than Taylor. As someone who appreciates much of her music, it isn't a high bar when it comes to her vocals.

Why are y'all pretending Billie can't sing and she's a comparable match for someone like Taylor? Taylor and Selena are more comparable in vocal skill (or lack thereof) than Billie and Taylor. Billie isn't a vocalist like Ariana or Beyoncé but she can definitely sing. For example, Billie can do riffs/runs and she was belting in her Oscar performance. Taylor cannot even attempt to sing most of the songs on HMHAS.

This is purely subjective. Everyone can think differently on this. Billie is obviously the better singer, but I prefer listening to Taylor's voice.
