This makes me feel violently ill from being so ancient. I remember its cinema release and I got Shrek 2 bookmarks with some chocolate kids treat on a holiday in Spain that year. I still own the bookmarks :rip:

i used to own the CD of this movie. just to make you all feel better, I'm Gen Z but old enough to remember my brother pushing the CD slot of our laptop (back when they had those) to insert the CD and slide it in to run the movie. makes me feel rlly old :/

one of the GOAT movies idc. RIP Joan Rivers who made a cameo / voiced the red carpet scene :jonny2:

Also here is the CORRECT version of holding out for a hero :jonny6:

shaped two generations, changed lives, was a reset to the culture (literally, kids movies were never the same since), global smash, soundtrack full of bops and iconic anthems, one of the best storylines ever in kids movies, actual comedy anyone could laugh to, main villain being a c*nty powerful witch grandma who went on to give a FULL ON MAIN POP GIRL PERFORMANCE

just legendary behavior :clap3:
