ClashAndBurn Posted May 16 Posted May 16 "On Monday, Red Lobster abruptly closed dozens of its locations, according to multiple reports. The closures come as the popular seafood chain has struggled in recent years with increasing financial challenges—one of which was the popularity of its Endless Shrimp promotion, which led to an $11 million quarterly loss in late 2023. Due to these financial hardships, there have been ongoing rumors that Red Lobster is considering filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. And now CNN reports that Red Lobster is abruptly closing at least 48 of its nearly 650 restaurants." Quote So which Red Lobster restaurants are closing? crf13 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Deserved for removing lobster rolls from their menu years ago. What kind of seafood restaurant has "lobster" in the title, but won't sell a simple lobster roll? 1
KFC Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I was looking forward to eating Endless Shrimp when I visit in July 3
Travis10 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Sad day, the price of certain seafood has gotten a bit crazy though. And a couple of our locations in Colorado have not been well kept. They should rebrand and include sushi/ramen ^____^ 1
Jotham Posted May 16 Posted May 16 RIP Cheddar Bay Biscuits I am not surprised though. I went there a couple years ago with my family and there were only like... two other parties in the entire restaurant. 2

Batsy Armada Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I'm happy that the Red Lobster in my region is still open and thriving, mainly due to its location. It probably would have closed if it was somewhere else. It wasn't that long ago that I had it. I still enjoy it as much as ever. 1
