perfectillusion204 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 This is what happens when you're only relevant in the US because the rest of the world doesn't use country music. I wish the US could relate 😪 10

No clue why he thought Sweden would be a great place for him to book an arena. Bless his heart Edited May 16 by ontherocks

Lille Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Why wouldn't they just move to a theater, how does this make economical sense?

Peak Now Posted May 16 Posted May 16 (edited) No idea why he thought it was a good idea to book the same arena as Eras, RWT and the Avicii tribute concert Edited May 16 by AndThenTheCocaine
Shelter Posted May 16 Posted May 16 That's a 50k stadium. So it's not really a drag since I don't think he is that big? Why not choose the arena.

Anthinos Posted May 16 Posted May 16 The countries where he is popular are all English-speaking countries and countries with a similar culture. I would describe him as local. American country music is not really popular in Europe.

I recently went to Simple Minds and they only used half of the arena too. I wonder whether they don't want to scale down the production or they couldn't book another venue. I know we like to kii and **** about some artists, but these tours are usually handled by intelligent people who will do good work if you let them. There must be some reason for this beyond "Oops, we overestimated the demand by a huge margin and couldn't scale down", that seems too easy to just blame it on dumb decisions when different touring artists do it. 3
