GreenFrequncey Posted June 29 Posted June 29 This was a good body of work. The growth from Ivory to God Said No is great. He was really singing with emotions throughout this album. I enjoyed it a lot on my first album. 1
Apolonio ₃₄ Posted June 29 Posted June 29 1. Drifting 2. Less of You 3. Done With You 4. Empty 5. Life's Unfair 6. Pedro 7. How 8. While U Can 9. Dispose Of Me 10. Be Careful With Me 11. Glow 12. Plane Trees 13. Against Me 14. Spite 1 1
Supervillain Posted June 29 Posted June 29 This album's title makes me cringe so bad every time I see it 1
ChooseyLover Posted June 29 Posted June 29 (edited) I did NOT expect the album to be this good after Less Of You (felt sonically out of place) but it delivered. All the singles fell into place within the album and unlike Ivory it doesn't feel like a playlist but as a well crafted project. Can't wait to dissect the lyrics after this first listen Edited June 29 by ChooseyLover 2
FlyPirate Posted June 29 Posted June 29 3/3 (does Apolonio count as an album tho) I think Ivory was more an instant love for me than this one, but I appreciate he tried to experiment with the instrumentals and the cohesion 2 hours ago, Pink Whitney said: the 1-2-3 punch of Life's Unfair- Against Me- While U Can exactly. 1
Bhabylon Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Halfway through, not really feeling it Omar's heartbreak songs tend to be my least favorite of his though () so maybe this one just isn't for me 1
Scandalous Posted July 4 Posted July 4 less of you is still the best song on it, i wish he made more songs like that also liked glow, drifting, & life's unfair 1
Burqa Posted July 4 Posted July 4 the second half is so gooooood less of you and drifting sound like half baked demos i lowkey hate them 1
Apolonio ₃₄ Posted July 9 Posted July 9 #3 on the Vinyl charts it's doing well. My vinyl just arrived today!
Park Jinyoung Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Why is this lowkey not getting any promo, barely any reviews too
BornUnbroken Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Warner dropped the ball on the promo of this record. I wonder what the terms for their distribution deals are. The singles, particularly Less of You, were not good enough to follow up the last record, especially considering 3 Boys and the EP did not seem to connect with his audience. His tour is also doing terribly, hope they can turn this era around since the album overall is very solid. 1
ultrablue Posted July 10 Posted July 10 odd choice to release such a sad/ballad heavy album in the middle of summer. he should lean more into the cocky/self indulgent stuff like tamagotchi, against me, or im amazing

Profiles in Variety, Billboard, Rolling Stone and the LA Times. Good playlistings on Spotify. And billboards in major urban locations. And yet it's not having enough impact 1
