So he's definitely in the know about the song. I initially thought the SZA route ala Drew Barrymore and how her roles as an actress connected to her…but I'm thinking it really is a love song. Is Spite a good indication of how the album sounds? I got into him with Spite, and really liked his last EP, but not much more than that that has really gripped me.
