Fevesy Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Loreen is a songwriter in Melfest, a good career change for her since she doesn't want to release music of her own

abelfenty Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Montenegro's entry Spoiler Imagine returning with this garbage
Fevesy Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Montenegro song... it's very basic, I like some parts of the melody but watching the performance.. meh, it's gonna be an ez NQ Honestly nothing really in Montesong was really that competitive, Nina's song was top 10 at best via jury payola
Mordecai Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Montenegro is probably my least favourite country in the competition, in its entire history the only songs of theirs I like are 2013 and 2022 I get they're a small country but so are Iceland and Malta and they've given us some great songs over the years
OrbitNumber1 Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Ooh, so this is the thread for Eurovision 2025 already. I really enjoyed this year's edition, so I guess I'll follow ESC more closely

It was limited to a single vote per number, and the SMS cost was 1€. Ppl literally didn't care about Montesong from what i am hearing and the show/hosts were absolutely terrible. Vladana was a disaster on so many levels and everything looked and was very unprofessional. Also, sadly some of the flop juries were giving Neonoen higher votes than they were to Nina. They were getting suspiciously high votes from juries. One of the guys from the band works for RTCG and one of them is married to one of the journalists from RTCG. Also Montenegro televote would sadly never vote for and send a female singer to Eurovision. The whole thing was a mess from start to finish! Edited November 28 by BOOM!
illia Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Montenegro... back to the NQ trenches you go. They had much better songs and I was starting to get hopeful that 2025 would finally be the year they qualify. But oh well. 1

It's not like for these countries much depends on them. It's all different factors and we all know how hard it is for them to qualify.
BOOM! Posted November 28 Posted November 28 This was BY FAR the best Montenegro had to offer: She literally ate that! That was the only performance that was Eurovision-ready. BUT someone CLEARLY really wanted Neonoen to win instead... I smell a big FRAUD!

Hey Babes Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Watch Montenegro qualifying and eliminating one of yall faves on the semifinals

BOOM! Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Looks like it's over for Clickbait. They performed the song live more than a year ago. Huge scandal is happening atm. in Montenegro. Everyone is asking for them to be disqualified and Nina to represent Montenegro.
Fevesy Posted December 1 Posted December 1 It's up to the broadcaster but same happened with Aiko last year and nothing came from it so don't get your hopes up

From what I recall from the 2016 scandal, you can perform the song, it just can't be *commercially* released before the deadline, so no streaming or music stores. it's okay to perform it

They disqualified one of the songs because artist revealed title of one of the songs on their Instagram before Montesong revealed the full list of participant. The rules were clear, song was not allowed to be performed before September 1 in any shape or form.
