I know that's RIGHT oh Meira the hitmaker you are :jonny5:

Although I'm getting flashbacks to last year when Froken Snusk sat on top of Spotify for the whole month only to then not make the finale... Melfest voters are something else

EurovisionFun are reporting that the UK have selected a girl band to represent us, with someone who has written a winning song before penning the entry

I honestly have no idea who it could be since we really haven't had any super popular girl bands recently

People saying FLO when their U.S. tour is around ESC season and I feel they are way too good for it.

There have already been established artists at Eurovision. France has Louane. She is also very well known here in our area and had a massive hit with Avenir. Flo would be realistic. I hope it's them and not some unknown group.

Omg a country bop?! :jonny5:I'm giving them a chance. Clearly trying to send pop bops didn't work out for the UK so they can come back to sending randoms  hoping that something sticks.

The fact UK could send R&B girl group FLO, alt pop singer Rina Sawayama, metal band The Hara... and this is what they came up with I-

This year seems that it won't have the same vibes

Posted

I mean after the way EBU treated the contestants last year and I*rael's whole participation fiasco it is understandable that relatively established names from bigger countries would avoid Eurovision. They don't need it :michael:

I personally won't cast judgement on Remember Monday being our act until I've heard the song, but that's just me idk

When the UK serves this in Basel

oh the Kant nachos might be in danger..

Eh, I'll give Remember Monday the benefit of the doubt since it's not completely unheard of for something in the vein of their sound to do ok, especially with the right song, but I'm generally not seeing the vision at the moment.

It's all going to depend on the song of course, but at least the vocals won't be a problem like the last few years. Two of the Remember Monday girlies are established West End performers
