BOOM! Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Vidbir… This year really is the biggest mess from the start. Like, where's the flavor?? 1
Bloodflowers. Posted January 24 Posted January 24 This is gonna be a filler year for Ukraine. Teresa & Maria would've been a jury winner if it wasn't for the war
nasa Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) Vidvir is overall a big mess because of the scrapped semifinals -> producers want different genres for sound diversity in the final -> we're forced to listen to underground rock/punk -> art songs left out in the wildcard stage. But that doesn't change the fact that Ziferblat have a massive art song and they're COMING Edited January 24 by nasa
Fevesy Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Yeah Vidbir was disappointing overall and half the songs in the final should have been in the Wildcard and vice versa. However "Birds of Pray" is my favourite song of the season atm and I don't go up for male rock bands like that normally
ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted January 24 Author ATRL Moderator Posted January 24 Nobody is really rooting for Samantha Mumba in Eurosong but I find her song a really nice change of pace from all the bops that are popular with the fanbase this year. Hoping she can deliver in the live performance. 1

Ireland coming to win the jury after Mans gets DQed 1

gimmelaugh Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Omg Samantha Mumba I need this VOCALIST diva to win omfg. I also like Adgy's song, the instrumental and vocals and he's hot Overall the Irish NF is very good 1
Gwendolyn Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Vidbir.. well I guess all good things comes to an end Eurosong's quality has improved so much within the last 2 years, I wish they weren't limited to the Late Show format so we could get a proper final.
Mezik Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Why is [REDACTED] climbing the odds and now number two? Please tell me it is not likely they will win.
Anthinos Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I'm obsessed with Henka's song Portugal has to vote for her. It screams Top 5 in the GF.

No song is out yet, but they have hinted at a H*rricane 2.0 and that won't win. Hurricane (awfully enough) was kinda good and the political intentions behind the televote was more fresh. The song would have to be better than H*rricane, they would need an even stronger televote, and they would need jurors to not tank it like they did last year. In all, I can see them placing lower left hand side of the scoreboard. And I'd bet that the only reason why they are so high in the odds is inflation as fans of that country pour money into betting sites for it. 45 minutes ago, Anthinos said: I'm obsessed with Henka's song Portugal has to vote for her. Hey Babes Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Best song of the season so far! Not a winning contender, but definitely a wonderful song!

If Israel couldn't win last year there's no chance they will this year (unless they have a winning song and not some propaganda) I just hope the EBU learnt from last year and that the atmosphere around their participation won't affect the contest the way it did in 2024. That was not a pleasant experience
Anthinos Posted January 25 Posted January 25 (edited) Luxembourg's NF looks great! Love the stage! I rooted for Rafa Ela but I didn't like her performance Imo Laura was the best. Loved the song and performance. She has a lot of potential! Edited January 25 by Anthinos
