I'm on vacation and forgot my laptop charger so reveal is postponed to Monday :deadbanana4:

A true non-reverse Österdahlian Eurovision 2020 expedition with the postponement.

Elvana has said she will revamp the song if she wins and is working on the choreo! Albania's first top 3 placement is coming

I like Zjerm, but the song is completely overrated by Eurovision fans (as always with ethnic songs). It screams fan flop 2025, Elvana is the full package. The choreo still needs work, but everything else is there. The song is a banger and Albania needs something new.

dragging Zjerm and then saying that Albania needs something new :ahh:

And sending a generic faux latin bop we've heard a million times is not the answer

Shkodra Elektronike is the correct choice, I want Elvana at Eurovision but she has way better songs than that and she shouldn't be rewarded for something as lacklustre as Karnaval :doc:

What would a Karnaval revamp even sound like? Isn't the whole point to sound like a Shakira Fifa World Cup song? :dies:

Both Karnaval and Zjerm are quite bad but the way the fandom is circlejerking over Zjerm is already annoying to me so I hope Karnaval wins

First time watching the Albanian national final and surprised by how they've tried to replicate every single detail they possibly could from Sanremo, from the graphics, staging, live orchestra gimmicks... including the hosts formula: token starving female model/tv personality eye candy + middle age guy.

funniest part is when they introduce the artist and have them walk down the stairs like in Sanremo but instead of some actual orchestral music it's a royalty free youtube song

SO EXCITED FOR ZJERM the live performance truly sold me where the live performance of Karnval really put me off. This was definitely the best choice Albania could make :clap3:

So... is it too late to completely cut the guy from the song?

A fan fave that's in a native language, experimental, and without conventional  structure or hooks? Wonder how this will turn out

At least they'd flop with an authentic and bold song instead of another Fuego x SloMo yaaass girlbop clone that would inevitably rank somewhere between 18-26

I see this argument often but is that really better? Who tf cares for 'bold art' aside for from chronically online eurogays, for 99.96% of the audience a bomb is a bomb. Take last year for example, is Ulveham technically a 'better' song than Damdigiggi or whatever? Yes. Would've KeiiNO had a better result, been a bigger moment and more rememberable overall for GP? Also yes. After all, we're making a TV show for entertainment aimed at general population, so 'ok nobody will likely care for this but it's daring!' doesn't really mean much in that context

:suburban:

That said, I'm not really out on Zjerm, if anything because of their diaspora, and the revamp + SJB card they like to pull out often.
