The normal type basic animalmons just don't really incite a lot of love OR hatred in me. They are often very mid. Patrat will grow up to have a job though, so that's nice.

The thing is, Simisear is usable. It's not a top tier pokemon but it can do some damage. I think the forced nature of the monkeys and them being obvious stand ins for the starters is what made a lot of people dislike them.

they should have 535 for their bst tbh. but they are useble tbh.
