The red carpet is all about the outfit and the designers.  Memorising their name should have been her homework considering "who are you wearing tonight" is the question that is always asked.  This is not her first Met Gala.  Inexcusable.

She purposely made use of the Streisand effect here in order to direct more attention to the designer than they would've otherwise gotten. A genius, sweetheart and true Sinophile! Love her so much.
