I think they should have continued to push I Love It. If they had sent it to radio I think it may have done pretty well. It's catchier. They assumed HE KNOWS would appeal to a bigger audience and it had backfired.

They probably just sent to radio because of all the complaints. Can't believe they refused I LUV IT like that. It almost sounds like they are being petty because Camila probably really wanted to invest in that song and they are trying to "prove a point" to her by doing this.

We complained for I luv it to be sent to radio too.

 

idk If I tune in on the 28th and that Drake collab ain't perched in the top 5 on TTH I'm tuning all the way out

I honestly really like this song, I think it could be a hit if pushed properly. I do see why the label thought based on their names alone they could do minimal and see success but clearly this needs a proper push

They still say the MV is coming this Friday, so expect they add the song to TTH too.

Of course I wish they sent "I Luv It" to the radio like this single.  I agree with most of the comments in here; if pushed properly He knows can do well enough.  Her team should book late night performances, and more interviews (Genius one hundred and it was great), part of me thinks her team is saving all of that for album promo;  I'm sure the Drake collab will drop album release, will they send it to radio and treat it as a proper single? We can only hope for it.    Keep in mind the album is dropping the last Friday of June.   It's kind of smart to have some single from the album on radio 6 weeks before the album, if this song flops at least it'll be some kind of gp exposure.  I kind of wish they went the dual single route, I LUV it could've had higher chances of being sent to radio I feel like.

 Dua Lipa is the only artist that has found success at force feeding bad songs down the publics throat.  I think the GP is just not going for these songs....

I liked this at first, but now I think it's just meh. I don't know what's happening... this era just doesn't do it for me unfortunately. Hopefully there'll be some hidden gems on the album, though.

Remember when Epic gave us Bam Bam at #1? 

 

Epic may have been controlling, but they knew how to get their s*** together. For example: ALL the Romance solo singles flopped, they resorted to adding MOM and pushing that. Don't Go Yet & Oh Na Na flopped, they pushed Bam Bam as the next single.

The hit that I luv it could have been with radio. They messed up big time. It will at least clear at least 100m streams without  any radio exposure
