If I could afford a private jet then I could afford to be where I want to be all of the time anyway (France). Were I wanting to go to England or Spain or Italy or Belgium or Switzerland or Austria, I'd be more than happy to take a lovely train ride or a short commercial flight.

honestly? no. i'd rather just hire a jet when i need it. i don't think i would enjoy the maintenance costs and responsibilities of owning a private jet. plus, i'd just spend more on another home or two

I think the true need for it depends on how well known you are versus simply having the money for it.

 

If you are very wealthy but unknown to majority of the public then you should be good. You'd be mostly fine with being in lounges and doing first class.

 

If you are some colossal Kardashian/Taylor level celebrity it's probably just not even realistic to go to a regular flight for safety reasons.

No. Even if I had the money I can't see myself spend a lot of money just to go on vacation 4 or 5 times a year. Or go to a different country as a weekend trip. I'm pretty humble so I feel anything else beyond 2 vacations trips a year is excessive too me.

I'm quite scared about private jets probably because of some news' about accidents involved private flights. They look like not safe at all
