But Adele's former label, XL, has not updated her certifications in many years, so her official stats are way out of date. For example, the 21 album certification has not been updated since 14x platinum (2016)

 

The album coming for double diamond (eventually) plus three diamond singles on top of that

It is true but this update is not up to her but her old label XL recordings. 19,21,25 are under them and they won't be updating anytime soon. 
They haven't since she left the label.

Adele's team could still update them but they don't really care (the same happens to Taylor's certifications)

 

For example Mariah's music from the 90's is still getting certifications and left Columbia Records in 2001

 

Britney's old music just got certifications last year and Jive Records doesn't even exist anymore

But ppl have spoken directly with people from her team and they literally said it's not up to them. If you see they have updated the 30 ones fast so they aren't the issue (when it comes to the old ones cause they are messy on other occasions too) it's xl
