greeneyedsoul Posted May 5 Posted May 5 With yesterday's update, Avril's "Smile" reached 100 million streams on Spotify. It was released in 2011 as the second single from Goodbye Lullaby. It marks her 13th song to reach this milestone and third from her fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby. With "Smile" reaching this milestone, all 3 official singles ("What the Hell" + "Wish You Were Here") from GL have accumulated at least 100 million streams. Next in line for 100 million streams we have "Nobody's Home". 5
Ger Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Such an uplifting anthem, Avril is so good with those. I was just thinking about it a couple of days ago, great song still.

KKKIMO92 Posted May 5 Posted May 5 It's a shame that they don't push for Everybody hurts as a single, that would be a great representation of the mature sound from her. Smile makes a bad single choice, song is generic and was not trendy at all like WTH.
ithinkheknowsoutsold Posted May 6 Posted May 6 The way this is far better than the 'real music' on most of Goodbye Career she actually wanted to put out.
MusicFan98 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 The way this song made me a little black star back in 2012 Such a bop.
Galah Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Should have been a massive hit. I know it was a bit too pop-rock'd in very electropop/bubblegum-pop dominated music scene at the time, but it had such a fun pop hook.
