I don't get that impression. Yes people obviously detest the marketing gimmicks and all that, but not one actually hates her (just as no one actively hates vanilla ice cream or Spaghetti bolognese.

I didn't see anything wrong with his story to begin with tbh. Artists are allowed to want success (this goes for my fave and anyone else), I've never understood why that's a problem for some people. As long as the competition doesn't turn downright nasty, it's whatever IMO.
