Funny how she got dragged for it on TikTok, getting called "narcissistic" for it, but if released by another popstar with this type of acclaim it would've been called iconic. The double standard

Even the doc was well-received. The TikToks making fun of the "running around the block, all wild and ****" does not mean the doc itself was crap.

I mean, it was the most streamed Prime Video film for several weeks. So not that shocking. What's more shocking is that so many wrote the project off just because there's a J.Lo hate train ongoing and cool to **** on her, while the project itself (film, album) are actually great.

I watched the doc and I know what I'm talking about. Her behavior and the tone of the whole doc are very... unhinged to say the least.

Well the majority of critics enjoyed the doc it seems from reviews. Maybe it was unhinged to you, but not for me. I just feel like it was quite self-aware (her sharing people didn't really clamor for the next JLo record, whether she should make it or not) and her referencing back to some older times really didn't bother me much.

Why do yall say things like this as if any other girl's output would've turned out exactly as JLo's? I mean all assignments are not completely equally, that's why teachers save the gold stars for a select few.

Anyway, the point @Totami Legend made was that *if* any other girl created the exact same output, the Tiktokers would've jumped on it and praised it to the heavens. Instead, they ripped it apart just cause it's cool to hate on J.Lo. And that ain't fair. Half of the people probably didn't even see the whole thing.
 

Anyway, the general consensus by critics on the project was positive, as Rotten Tomatoes suggests.
