A pre-spotify era single hitting 1 billion by a woman in their 40s at the time :jonnycat:

Iconique - the #1 IFPI female single of 2011 really stood the test of time in the streaming era :clap3:

Spotify:

On the Floor (Album Version): 553M

On the Floor (Radio Version): 447M

I fear it would be 2 billion if they had the music video with the beautiful extended intro version on Spotify :jonnycat:

When everyone/GPs used to know all the hits , not now that most of the songs that hits number 1 are pretty forgettable few months after.

I remember we were tracking iTunes a lot back then and was shook that it dethroned "Born This Way" after the American Idol premiere.

Iconic single, I still remember the serve on American Idol and how the song skyrocket to the top and still radio refuses to play it even when it was selling like hotcakes.

Latina queen did that right.
