Thank goodness an actual comedy won Best Comedy. And Hacks is an infinitely better show than The Bear too.

I didn't even know this was airing tonight. It feels like the last one just aired not too long ago 🫠

Also, I hate that JB lost

Wait. I just realized Liza won best supporting and although I would have loved for Hannah to win, I f-ing adore Liza. She’s consistently one of my favorite parts of The Bear :wanda:

Are you referring to Monarch? I was upset that didn't get a visual effects nomination :chick1:

So happy for shogun wow. So proud of Anna

the bear won't be winning as much next year hopefully. The 3rd season was a let down.

Bear S2 the second show to take 4/7 yet still lose Comedy Series, after Mary Tyler Moore in the 70s (twice) against All in the Family.

After 2020-2022 each had a show win at least 5/7, and 2023 had THREE shows 5/7, this year had none. Back to pre-covid days we go.

LIZA COLON!!! :clap3:

I couldn't get into The Bear as a show but Liza's character was my favourite and she was great on the show. That she beat out Meryl and Carol Burnett is a huge surprise but we have to stan

On a sidenote, television has fallen off a cliff in the last couple of years if the Emmys are anything to go by :rip: Didn't recognise most of the nominated programmes prior to the ceremony

NOOO, Jonathan Bailey lost  :cries2:

This is the biggest upset of the night, because the winner was 7th in the predictions

Makes literally no sense. Morris has about 20 lines and wasn't even the 2nd best supporting actor in his season (Joe Keery and Sam Spruell were far more deserving)

The Bear being in the comedy category ****** up all the votes....

I hate sweeps it's so annoying honestly but anyway I'm happy Hacks won Best Comedy even though I preferred The Bear S02 but the category fraud and voting tactics put me off

Fargo finally won an Emmy since S01, but for the wrong person :noparty:

FX were really smart to change category and compete in a very weak Drama category

The Bear needs to be STOPPED!

That is NOT a comedy! Those people are suffering from start to finish!
