The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS), will be presented on Sunday, September 15th. The ceremony will take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and broadcast live on ABC. The 76th edition will be honoring American primetime programs that aired between June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024. The Creative Arts ceremonies, where the majority of awards will be given out, will occur on Saturday and Sunday, September 7th and 8th. Nominations will be announced on July 17th.

 

Eligibility period: June 1, 2023 - May 31, 2024

First-round voting: June 13-24

Second-round voting: August 15-26

 

The Television Academy announced several rule changes, including eliminating Outstanding Short Form Animated Program (these will now be submitted to Outstanding Animated Program) and Outstanding Actor in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series & Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series being combined into one category (Outstanding Performer in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series). Guest performers must now be in a minimum of 5% of their submitted episode.

Would love to see Capote VS. The Swans recognized, especially for the acting!
