mercurialworld Posted May 1 Posted May 1 The battle of the workplace communication platforms... Slack vs. Teams. Which is the Dua Lipa and which is the Khia of the business world?
Pheromosa Posted May 1 Posted May 1 How can you even ask this? Microsoft's entire suite is **** and teams is the worst 1

illia Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I use Slack for work and Teams for uni Slack >>>>>>> that laggy mess 1
nadiamendell Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I used Slack in college but use Teams in the corporate world. They both have their positives and negatives. 1
ATRL Moderator Bloo Posted May 1 ATRL Moderator Posted May 1 My workplace has both and every time I use Teams it’s absolute hell. Slack is actually pretty solid. My only major complaint is it’s login system is a bit awkward. 1

GeminiCat Posted May 1 Posted May 1 My job uses both but I/we use teams way more. Slack looks pretty cool plus the mobile app is nicer but all the discourse is super cringey and corny, nobody but the usual 2-3 ppl that love to hear themselves talk even post on it. It's mostly for announcements or coordinating company events/hangouts now. Teams is great for casual chats with work besties in the background or quickly exchanging info with other coworkers. Basic but efficient. 1
ATRL Moderator Element Posted May 1 ATRL Moderator Posted May 1 In general, these apps at work cause so much daily disruption and anxiety for ppl that it’s hard to support either. They are overused. From a pure usability/interface perspective though, I love Slack. It has a much better design! 1
