Dear Reader Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I actually love the setlist. Just wish she would've included Billie Bossa Nova cause it's one of my personal favs 1

aaron511 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Surprisingly good setlist I'm surprised Your Power didn't make it 1
Jenni Posted September 30 Posted September 30 That was an insane show, loved everything, it's easily her best tour, the production is on another level. I also loved that she played many instruments, guitar, electric guitar and piano, she really wanted to show us how talented she is. Also I'm still processing her doing her own harmonies during when the party's over, that was INSANE. My only complaint is her not singing bittersuite and blue, these songs deserved their own moment too, but other than that, amazing setlist. 2 1

I don't know, I guess we'll have to wait and see. But I agree the setlist was pretty good and worked out perfectly. Edited September 30 by Dash_inthedark

Dash_inthedark Posted September 30 Posted September 30 (edited) Another view from one of the most mesmerising and awesome moments of the show. She manage to have everyone in that arena in complete silence so she could looped her own vocals to do the harmonies in WTPO live and did it perfectly. Edited September 30 by Dash_inthedark

I was hoping to get to experience this 1,2, PUNCH live but oh well...

D.Va Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Is it me or the lights look WIIIIIIILD ? I might have to take my sunglasses to the show... ... that is if I even manage to get tickets by June next year
badgirlriri Posted September 30 Posted September 30 (edited) Mmmm. Mixed feelings with the show. She really needs to increase the length of the show, she just has too many essential tracks that can't be done in 80 minutes. Really disappointed with Blue and especially Bittersuite getting shafted, HTE being cut down and dsam being rushed through with bellyache completely cut out. I think she's also trying too hard to force certain upbeat tracks into the setlist maybe because she feels like she has to, but I doubt anybody would feel crown's absense and would prefer an additional beloved ballad like I love you. Also Guess doesn't need to be on here unless Charli is coming out to perform with her. Wildflower, The Greatest and WTPO were all exceptional and I'm happy she kept Ilomilo on the setlist. But so far I've much prefer the HTE tour I must say. Edited September 30 by badgirlriri

But so far I've much prefer the HTE tour I must say. The show lasts approximately 1h45min, it's a little bit longer than the hte tour, I think it's a pretty good duration. Setlists are a complicated thing, because I feel like no matter what songs she keeps or takes away, there will always be people disappointed with it. In my opinion, she balanced really well the slow tracks with the upbeat ones. I also felt disappointed by her not singing blue and bittersuite and I agree with guess, but I think she's only playing guess for the north america leg of the tour, and I have a feeling that she's gonna invite Charli to sing it with her in one of her LA shows. This is her third album and fourth project counting with dsam, it's natural that we're not gonna see songs that the fans love on the setlist anymore, like I love you and bellyache, but on the other hand I'm glad that she kept songs like male fantasy, TV and oxytocin, that are not so obvious choices. 2
whatyouwant_ Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Yeah, the duration and setlist were really good imo. The stage is huge, its hard for her to keep that same energy for songs that are more difficult to sing like BOAF at the end of the show, so the setlist and run time is well balanced with the slow and more upbeat songs. Theres always someone that wont like the songs picked and the next tour will be even harder to make, cause more songs that we love will be out, replaced by the new ones, its always like that for every artist. For me, HMHAS is her best tour by far, she's more mature, more confident, we can say a bit nervous because FINNEAS wasnt there like usual, but she handle really well for her first show without him. She played all the instruments, the led visuals, the band, everything was perfect. She literally owned the stage. 2

Totally agree, and we have to appreciate how even on a huge stage like this she still shows so much stage presence and energy, I think some people don't realize how hard it is for an artist to do that alone like she does. And she's on the stage every second of the show, there is not a single pause where she could go backstage, she's truly an incredible performer 2

The idea of a 360 stage was the best thing they could come with, i must confess i was afraid cause not everyone can pull of a good show on that stage but she nailed it. And she did that to be more close to the fans and everyone can enjoy a good view. THAT INTRO WAS INSANE, best ever. CHIHIRO + LUNCH was one of the highlights for me 2
