Taylor's Spanish language album when?

If China ever allows Spotify in the country then it's really over for everyone else.

Also did TTPD flop in the Philippines?

Taylor having most of her streaming units from US, Canada and Australia. Without taking in consideration UK.

I think the total sum of her sales in Anglosphere might represent 75% of her real units. Granted her pure sales ( both her tracks and album are even more local than streaming is) are also mostly US followed secondly by the other English speaking countries.

Taylor 2nd biggest market is China

3rd is UK

4th is Philippines

She is least dependent on EU unlike other pop girls

70% of her streams in Spotify according to this chart come from Anglosphere and that's the most global platform. Apple Music is even more Anglo-centric.

Calculate her North American, UK and Australian units and multiply them by 1.3 you get her total sum of units.

Not saying she isn't huge in those countries.

The total sum of sales in the Anglosphere represents 75% (or even higher) of all English-speaking artists. Or do you think half of Beyonce's unit comes from Africa? Or half of Gaga's units coming from Russia? What's the point of saying this? :rip:

Not saying she isn't big outside of Anglosphere. But when you calculate the total units in North America, UK and Aus you get get around 120M units. I think you can multiply that number with 1.3 and you'll see a more realistic number of her units WW.

The world has lots of countries and most of them are not on this list cause they don't have Spotify, including some of the biggest markets like China. This format is meaningless :rip:

HDD has provided her realistic number of units WW last week. And it's over 200M, ChartMaster underestimates her cause her each of the album's data provided by HDD is around 20% higher than CM, so her realistic number of units WW is close to 250m

I think HDD is a more reliable source than ATRL user Aethereal, right?

HDD and other US platforms always give an exaggerated sum of sales WW for all artists, they are accurate only when answering about US. Eg. Britney sold 105M albums WW.

Probably but they're still the official number and can reach the data you can't see which means it's more accurate than any fan fiction.

they think doing good in the EU = automatically global

Because there's so many different cultures and languages throughout Europe that make English songs & albums becoming hits there impressive. And from my own experience when Rihanna was releasing music, EU countries occupied 5 out of 10 top markets. That meant global idk

I mean there's a reason why every artist mostly tour EU and NA. It's profitable

Most of Taylor digital track sales come from US. (Even Chartmasters agrees on this)

The vast majority of her pure album sales come from US. (This is not arguable)

Depending on how big she is on AM possibly half of her streams come from North America.

Stop throwing numbers out of your ass. Some people who really studied her numbers have her total units at 200M+, you are not going to change it based on… your personal thoughts on her Spotify numbers :dies:

Despite its "diversity", Europe is pretty homogenic in its taste actually. They go absolutely nuts for any basic pop and dance music. Breaking into Asian and African markets is a lot harder

But in Asia K-pop is dominating which is exactly what you described that apparently European people love lol. And lbr it's harder for black artists to break into Asian market. That's not the case for Europe. There is more diversity here than in Asian music scene

And what do you want to persuade me? :rip: You're acting like the world only has two streaming tools. In the real world, Spotify and Apple Music only account for 45% of the total market share. Both HDD (official source) and Chartmaster (also fan fiction but apparently they spend more time studying on charts and data than you) have told us she has passed 200m global album units and that's enough.

US streams are more frontloaded so % of her first week US streams are higher than average day.

First day - 48% US share

8th day - 44% US share

It will keep dropping.

That was late 2023 (9/8)

USA 36.4m
Mexico 4.7m
Brazil 4.6m
India 2.6m
Indonesia 5.6m
Spain 1.3m
Turkey 656k
Philippines 9.1m
Italy 970k
Germany 2.7m
Argentina 1.67m
UK 6m
France 936k
Japan 468k
Chile 900k
Australia 4m
Canada 4.6m
Poland 800k
Colombia 488k
Thailand 500k
Netherlands 1m
Peru 500k
Sweden 700k
Vietnam 377k
Nigeria 300k

Roughly 35% US
